The South African National Biodiversity Institute (SANBI) is the organisation mandated to be responsible for South Africa’s Biodiversity. This includes leading biodiversity research, championing biodiversity information management and planning.
SANBI has allowed SAN-Ecosystems (Nicola Schwim) permission to utilise and present its information on Biodiversity Structural, Planning and Development and Biodiversity Conservation.
WESSA (the Wildlife and Environment Society of South Africa) is a leading implementer of high-impact environmental and conservation initiatives in southern Africa. Nicola Schwim is a proud member of WESSA, and WESSA supports the initiative of Conservation and Biodiversity Education presented by SAN Ecosystems.
The Field Guides Association of Southern Africa (FGASA) provides educational opportunities to promote the conservation and rehabilitation of the cultural and natural heritage of Southern Africa. To this end FGASA maintains and serves a professional association of highly-trained nature guides, tour operators and hospitality institutions who share the vision and are committed to the FGASA Code of Conduct and Responsible Tourism Guidelines.

The Department of Environmental Affairs is mandated to give effect to the right of citizens to an environment that is not harmful to their health or wellbeing, and to have the environment protected for the benefit of present and future generations. To this end, the department provides leadership in environmental management, conservation and protection towards sustainability for the benefit of South Africans and the global community.

The Conservation chamber is the fourth largest in the CATHSSETA scope. It covers 4 Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) codes and includes the following categories: Hunting and Trapping, Activities of Conservation Bodies, Game Parks, Reserves, Wild Life Parks and Zoological Establishments and Botanical Gardens.
